5 Tips to Reduce Wrinkles

Wrinkles can be of many types. It can be fine lines close to the lips, laugh lines or crow feet and it indicates aging. Wrinkles happen due to regular facial expressions, and to reduce wrinkles on your face, you should be aware of the causes. It can be caused by aging, smoking, exposure to harmful ultraviolet radiation of sun, poor water intake, and it is commonly seen in people having dry skin. Cortisol can reduce the level of collagen and the poor elasticity of the skin causing wrinkles. Some of the effective tips to reduce wrinkles are:

1.  Keep The Skin Moisturized
Wrinkles are caused when the skin could not expand evenly and dehydration is one of the common causes for wrinkles. You should take at least 8 -10 glasses of water in a day. You should keep the skin moisturized, in certain weather conditions, and provide nutrition to the skin, in the form of skin tonic and milk, to reduce the lines. Urea is a chemical which prevents loss of water and it can be applied through skin creams to keep the skin moisturized.
2. Use Creams To Increase Level Of Collagen Fibers
If the elasticity of skin reduces, it can cause wrinkles. To improve the skin’s elasticity, you can use anti wrinkle creams, which contains hyaluronic acid. These creams contain collagen fibers, and it helps in repairing and rebuilding the damaged skin cells.
3.  Reduce Exposure To Harmful Radiation And Chemicals
Try to protect skin from sun’s harmful radiation, always cover your face with clothes while you go outside. You can wear long sleeve clothes to protect skin from coming in direct contact with sun or environmental hazards. Avoid using anything on the face which can damage your skin’s inner layers. Do not apply harsh chemicals to the skin. Use sunscreen blocks which protects against UVA and UVB radiations.
4.  Do Not Smoke
Smoking is very harmful for your health and skin. It has been found in research that cigarette smoking can fasten the process of aging. It causes wrinklesbecause certain enzymes are released by the smoke of cigarette which breaks down elastin and collagen found on the skin.
5.  Lifestyle And Food
If you have a stressful and hectic lifestyle, your skin will suffer. Not having adequate sleep of eight hours, or irregular sleep patterns can make your skin look dull and wrinkled. Improper diet and unbalanced intake of minerals and vitamins can even raise the risk of skin ridges. To improve the elasticity of skin, you should take adequate amount of vitamins and minerals which are needed to keep the skin healthy. Take adequate quantities of Vitamin B and C to improve skin texture. You should reduce intake of coffee and tea, instead take herbal tea and cocoa to make the skin look smoother and softer. Include fresh water fishes in diet to improve the skin texture as well. Omega 3 fatty acid found in fish is helpful in providing nutrition to the skin and reducing wrinkles. Eat more vegetables and fruits which contain free radicals and make you look younger and radiant.
