Take a sneak peek at the latest Swarovski line and get ready to be part
of a fascinating musical set to be a color-filled blockbuster taking
place on a dreamy backdrop with lovely pastels, bright balloons and
romantic flowers. Creative director Nathalie Colin uses the
spring/summer 2012 jewelry and accessory collection to tell us "the
story of a multifaceted young woman as she evolves from a student to
that of a starlet becoming accustomed to fame and the limelight."
The famous brand's collection has two main themes called 'Sweet Sixties' and 'In the Spotlight'. The first one features some incredibly ethereal beauties such as the Regency necklace with a wide lilac ribbon that beautifully echoes the violet reflections of the imposing chaton-set crystals and jeweled flowers linked between them. There are also two oh-so-chic and delicate sets, Raspberry and Ribbon. Imagine black resin beads on a long chain set off a rhodium-plated pendant, mini crystals that stunningly take the form of a cherry in a gradation of colors and subtle dusty pink, heart-shaped pendants, colored crystal kisses, and gray Crystal Pearls, expertly interwoven with tone-on-tone or metallic effect embroidered elements on the wide antique pink in the form of a bouquet.

In the second theme of the collection, we get the chance to go on the
set where the heroine is performing. 'In the Spotlight' draws its
inspiration from the avant-garde design of the 1960s and offers
spectacular and luxurious pieces having cleaner lines, along with
sophisticated mosaics representing the many glamorous and feminine roles
of the era. For example, the Round Sphere necklace provides a
contemporary interpretation of the retro-futuristic styling of this
period.
What captures the attention the most are those achingly sophisticated rings. The Reload and Rapture rings are made of stones with facets cut exclusively for the Swarovski spring/summer 2012 collection. Then, there are other two seriously fab stunners, Hyacinth and Rocket. The first one was reinterpreted in this season's colors and recalls a puzzle while the second one is topped with a large asymmetric crystal and other numerous triangular crystals give that wow-worthy touch. Still, the ultimate piece in this unforgettable and impressive line seems to be the Raphaela necklace with a gradation of crystals and iridescent pearls and chaton spheres in pink, red and orange.
